The module is designed to provide students with a comprehensive overview on the state of the art of the German economic system and how Germany has managed to emerge as a winner from the current European crisis without neglecting future opportunities and threats.

Course aim

Understand the German economy and the country’s position within Europe. Being able to critically reflect on current and future topics from a German/European point of view and thus being able to reflect on other countries’ perspectives in general.

Fee info

EUR 1200: Program fee includes tuition, lecture material, company visits, cultural activities on week-days, accommodation in a centrally located comfort-class hotel including breakfast, lunch on week-days, welcome and farewell dinners, transportation during the program, weekly ticket for public transportation in the region, Wi-Fi access on campus, information package, certificate of attendance, transcript of records, support by the Summer School team throughout the program.
