About

Lectures will cover different aspects of digitalization, business information systems and information management.

Following a highly interactive approach, lectures provide theoretical and practical insights into pivotal topics of the digital economy, including digital business models, business analytics, information management, and emerging technologies, e.g. blockchain.

The course will be held in live per ZOOM, but the sessions will be uploaded on our digital learning platfom, so that the students can
easily download each slot afterwards and watch it later.

After completing the module successfully, students will have a broad understanding of how to identify and capture benefits from digital opportunities in Europe.

An online guided tour of the city of Würzburg will give you an idea where we are and where you are warmly welcome to come and study after the pandemic comes to an end. We will also offer you a virtual company visit in order to give you an insight into German business culture.

Target group

BSc and MSc students in Business Management or Business Information Systems
There are no prerequistes except for a basic knowledge in the fields of business management and economics. The language of instruction is English, thus language proficiency on an advanced Intermediate level (B2) is a prerequisite for participation.

Course aim

After completing the module successfully, students will have a broad understanding of how to identify and capture benefits from digital opportunities in Europe.
