Europe’s 'migrant crisis' has been a popular theme in political and media narratives. Beyond crisis, what does migrant life look like in the everyday? This course centers food and religion as two sites where migrant lifeworlds take shape. Through observation and fieldwork exercises in Nijmegen, it offers hands-on experience in mapping out migrant lifeworlds through qualitative research methods.
