Summer School – USB

Summer school is an international summer school for university students organized by University of South Bohemia, Institute of Complex Systems FFPW.

The aim of the summer school is to attract talented students to the research and development carrier at the university and private companies:
- The students are involved into real research projects
- The projects are supervised by the experts in the field
- The mixture of project (university/company, biological/technical) provide the possibility of multi-disciplionary work
- International environment motivates to learn, explore and enjoy
- 1 month (July) of work on interesting projects

The students work in the team on the real research project under the supervision of the experts in the field. Both, biologically and technically oriented projects are offered every year. Students are introduced into the research topic and develop their own solution of the specific problem. They prepare the presentation of the project results and report it to the committee to improve their presentation skills. The part of the summer school are specialized lectures, excursions and social events for the students.
