The lectures and activities focus on railway system technology, automobiles, robotics, energy and virtual engineering. Participants also have the chance to experience various hands-on activities during the workshops. The visit to the world-famous Daimler AG completes our academic agenda.

Our many exciting excursions provide the opportunity to become acquainted with Karlsruhe and the German culture. The highlight of the excursions will be the visit of the most popular theme park in Germany – the Europa-Park in Rust.

The Carl Benz Summer School is a great opportunity to gain first impressions of student life and to learn more about your possible future career in engineering!

High school students ages 16-18 with a passion for subjects like math, science, and engineering.

Course aim

The course aims to provide students with the opportunity to learn about what it's like to study engineering in Karlsruhe, Germany. We do this by providing lectures, excursions, hands-on activities, and workshops.

Fee info

EUR 900: The course fee amounts to 900 Euro, including excursions, workshops, institute visits, lunches, leisure activities, and tram tickets. The fee does not include costs for travel and accommodation.
