Strategic Human Resource Management
This two-week module offered by Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi within the Interdisciplinary JASSY Summer School aims at providing functional expertise to Strategic Human Resource Management trainees by means of a compact, yet comprehensive approach.
Although there have been debates on recognising Human Resource Management's (HRM) strategic role in a company, recent data reveals that many organizations are finally beginning to give their endorsement. In this context, now is the best time for HR professionals to prove their expertise.
By taking up this course, you will gain valuable knowledge about the strategic role of HRM in modern organizations. Upon completion, you will be aware of the key aspects which should be considered when generating a strategic view of HR. You will also be able to understand and analyse the link between HR and organizational strategies and outcomes, as well as set up HR processes - recruitment and selection, development, performance management, engagement, well-being - all aligned to the overall business strategy.
