With regard to speaking, the course aims to ensure that students will be able to have high-conversational skills alongside improved pronunciation (this will mean that students can both understand and be understood in a variety of situations). Moreover, by working on a variety of writing styles, such as emails, letters and opinion pieces, under the guidance and feedback of their trainer, students will be able to practise and develop their writing skills. Furthermore, students can expect to improve and perfect these receptive skills with a range of enjoyable and interactive activities suited to a high-level learner. To help with the enhancement of the four language skills, students will be introduced to a variety of learning techniques and can also expect to revise potentially familiar grammatical structures (while also learning new grammar rules). On top of all of this, students will be instructed in cultural awareness to help fully understand why English is spoken the way it is and how this in turn will impact formality in different contexts.
