AAVS Cove Park is calling upon architects, designers, and artists to join Cove Park in generating spatial propositions for the residency centre’s future.
Cove Park is a unique international artists residency centre located on the picturesque slopes overlooking Loch Long in Scotland’s rural west coast. Since 1999, Cove Park has created a stimulating and supportive environment for artists to develop, test and share their work in award winning facilities.
The programme is open to current architecture, design and art students, PhD candidates and young professionals, creative practitioners. Software Requirements: Adobe Creative Suite, a basic understanding of 2D graphics, 3D modeling and time-based media.
Theoretical and practical understandings of key notions of sustainability and sustainment .
Spatial and architectural proposition.
Working with principles of environmental design and sustainable construction.
Collaborative learning and multidisciplinary approach.
GBP 2350: The AA Visiting School requires a fee of £2,350 per participant (£1,800 early bird concession), which includes a £60 Visiting Membership fee, payable by all participants.
Due to Cove Park’s relative isolation on the Rosneath Peninsula in Argyll and Bute, participants will need to live and work on location. Fees include accommodation and full board. Students need to bring their own laptops, digital equipment, model making tools and any additional equipment they plan to use during the visiting school. Fees do not include flights.
