This summer school on cryptography offers undergraduate and graduate students and researchers the opportunity to crypt a bit. It provides acquaintance and interaction in an intellectually stimulating and informal atmosphere in pleasant surroundings.

The crypt@b-it is organized by the GI, FG Krypto, in cooperation with the CASA (Cyber Security in the Age of Large-Scale Adversaries) at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and Horst Görtz Institute for IT-Security, and the smashHit project (https://smashhit.eu/) at the Data Science and Intelligent Systems Research Group at the Computer Science at University of Bonn, and the b-it (Bonn-Aachen International Center for Information Technology). In cooperation with IACR.

Fee info

EUR 220: The reduced registration fee for students and phd students that are members of the GI is 200€. Students and phd students who are not members of the GI pay 220€.. Please send a certificate of study from your university by email to the organizing committee.
EUR 900: The regular registration fee for the event for members of the GI is 800€, for non-members 900€.

Scholarships

For students that require financial aid, we provide a limited number of stipends which cover the crypt@b-it registration fee in part on in full. (Please note that we cannot subsidize accommodation or travel cost.)
