The last academic research issues on the work of Alessandro Manzoni, one of the most important Italian and European poets and novelists, whose masterpiece, "I promessi sposi", set in the early 17th-Century Lombardy, is ranked among the most significant novels in literature worldwide. This year the summer school will take place in a beautiful and quiet location in Liguria (Italian Riviera) not far from the "Golfo dei Poeti", chosen in order to enhance a learning experience characterized by the debate and idea-sharing among lecturers and participants.
