The CBS Summer School is designed for high school students aged 16 and older seeking an immersive exploration into the world of mechanical engineering. This unique program offers a comprehensive introduction to the field, emphasizing its profound relevance in addressing contemporary challenges. With a focus on experiential learning, participants engage in hands-on workshops and thought-provoking lectures, each woven around at least one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Target group

The unique combination of challenging lectures and workshops in engineering and leisure activities addresses technically interested students from age 16 – 19.

Course aim

The course aims to provide students with the opportunity to learn about what it's like to study engineering in Karlsruhe, Germany. We do this by providing lectures, excursions, hands-on activities, and workshops.
