The course offers a state of the art of contemporary Spanish audiovisuals from a multidisciplinary perspective through different media: cinema, television fiction, reality television or video clips, among others. On the one hand, it addresses those audiovisual proposals that stand out for their artistic value and their ability to update images that are part of the Spanish imaginary and tradition. On the other hand, it deals with those proposals that have the capacity to reflect the most outstanding features of contemporary Spanish reality and culture, while providing the student with the tools to understand and situate these works in the history of cinema and with respect to contemporary visual manifestations.
