Hands-On Filmmaking Workshop

Invisible Myths is a filmmaking hands-on workshop offering a unique opportunity for people to exapnd their filmmaking abilities by creating a short film in the stunning setting of a Greek island.

The workshop hosts a small number of participants, enabling us to address to the needs of each student.

​While discovering the island's fascinating history and culture, participants will be inspired to unearth the hidden myths that reside within the landscape to tell stories that are rooted in the personal and the universal.



During the time together, all participants will engage in a collaborative effort to transform their individual visions and creativity into cohesive short films.

A public screening will be held at the end our time together to present the films created during the workshop.

Course leader

Mariangela Ciccarello and OliwiaTado are filmmakers and educators eager to share their passion for cinema and mythology with young generations.

18-25 years old

Course aim

Participants will develop their skills and comprehension of the film medium through a variety of creative-writing sessions, film screenings, analysis discussions, conceptual and technical exercises.

By the end of the program, they will have gained valuable experience in conceptualizing, shooting and editing a short film.

The workshop will focus on the development of a strong authorial, directorial perspective while also emphasizing the collaborative dynamic of making a film.

The time at Invisible Myths will be a moment for expanding technical skills and cinematic knowledge through experimentation and playfulness.
