E-business
The course will primarily focus on e-business technologies and e-business theories present in the world. We’ll cover development of the e-business threw out history and its beginnings with definition of mainstream fields of e-business. Students will have opportunity to discuss large number of the cases of success and failure. Course will be heavily oriented towards practical implementations of web applications for e-business. In the end of the course students will gain basic practical knowledge for development of their own e-business ideas.
Course leader
Hrvoje Jerkovic got his PhD in 2012 on Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb with the emphasis on usage of technology in e-learning. From August 2002 he have been working for Zagreb School for Economics and Management as teaching assis
Target group
Students with interest in computer sciences and e-business technologies.
Course aim
The goals of this course include understanding basic categories of e-business, understanding basic factors of failure and success in the main e-business fields today, understanding of core factors needed for development of successful e-businesses, exploration of different technologies and their potential in development of e-business projects and applications, and writing a project for e-business idea.
Fee info
EUR 1300: Tuition fee includes this course with all the materials and Blackboard access. It also includes Croatian studies course with various activities such as visits to museums, Parliament and company visit. Students will also have two field trips included during the weekends.
USD 40: Due to the course outline each student taking this course needs to pay extra 40$ in order to be able to access the platform necessary for the course.
