Courses: Italian Language Courses: levels A1-A2,B1-B2,C1.
Special Subject courses (4 hours each): Art, Music, Literature
Basic option: 60 hour Italian Language Course
Intensive cours: 60 hour Italian Language Course + 12h Special Courses (4h x week)
Additional lectures on Italian culture may be added to the programme.
Social and recreational programme: A range of optional excursions and social events will be offered throughout the summer school. These are likely to include: Visits to Lucca, Florence, Massa Carrara, Siena, San Gimignano, Concerts in Torre del Lago, Pieve a Elici. (Please note that most of these activities may incur additional costs).

Target group

The Summer School is open to university students and professionals; students preparing for Italian Universities enrolment may also apply (students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian if under 18 when the programme commences).

Course aim

The Italian language and Culture Summer School aims to give its participants an experience of Italian language and culture in a unique setting. Classes will take place in Via S. Maria 36, at walking distance from Miracle Square, and the world famous leaning Tower.

Credits info

6 EC
Certificate of attendance: All students who complete the programme will receive an `attendance certificate`. Those seeking credit at their home institution may request a `detailed certificate` which lists number of hours (including lectures and special subject courses) and level achieved. If they are more than 12, students may also sit for the CILS certificate at Pisa University.

Fee info

EUR 600: Doesn't include meals, accommodation can be concorded under agreement.
