Vascular Summer School
This program is scheduled over one week of intensive courses including plenary lectures, workshops, hands-on-sessions and live demonstrations and laboratory visits to provide an overview on the various techniques in both fundamental and clinical fields.

Classes take place on the Department of Medicine and in the hospital labs, from Monday to Friday, any time between 9am and 5pm.

Target group
This summer school is accessible to national and international students from the 2nd undergraduate up to PhD in Medicine, Pharmaceutics and Life Sciences.
Course aim
According to World Health Organization, cardiovascular diseases represent the leading health and diseases worldwide. Cardiovascular diseases are linked to the very complex interactions between genes, aging and life style, and various risk factors.
This intensive teaching program will give an overview of the actual and future knowledge in the field of cardiovascular diseases. Selected thematics will be presented by renowned researchers and clinicians experts in the field who will share with the participants their experience through interactive plenary lectures, workshops, hands-on and laboratory visits.
The Summer School not only offers a fine selection of interesting courses and scientific visits, it also aims at giving you an unforgettable
stay in France. You will enjoy the numerous social activities in our beautiful historical city and yout one-day trip on the Atlantic seashore.
