Module "Sustainable engineering"
Russia’s approach to sustainable engineering comes from its unique social, economic and geographic conditions as a country with rapidly developing cities with contrasting climate.
MGSU comprises the best practices in green construction, energy efficient solutions and smart resources management.
During the module you will be able to familiarize yourself with sustainable engineering paradigm in Russia and to work on interesting tasks to create green, smart, and energy efficient solutions for construction industry. You will have an opportunity to visit unique facilities, and see an actual implementation of different technologies for rational use of resources and energy saving with region specific approach.
The module includes three main topics:
1. Energy efficient technologies on the scale from single household to megacities.
2. BIM-technologies for design of engineering facilities.
3. Modern materials for sustainable engineering facilities.
The idea of the module project is to create concept design of ideal house of the future that saves money, resources and energy, comfortable and easy operated.
In addition to the general program module provides technical tours: plant of ventilation equipment, water / wastewater treatment plant visiting, training ground for energy-efficient technologies.

International Summer School “Build Your Future” offers diverse experience for participants interested in architecture and urban planning of Moscow, as well as expertise in modern sustainable engineering practices in Russia. Second part of the summer school opens an opportunity for participants to learn Russian language and, of course, enjoy Great city of Moscow.
Our summer school includes three modules:
“Russian language” module for all participants and one module of choice - “Architecture & urbanism” or “Sustainable engineering”. All modules are taught in English. Upon successful completion, participants of the Summer School will be awarded with 2 ECTS credits.
EUR 600: The course fee is 600 EUR.
