You want to understand how the European Union works? You want to find out how decisions are made? You are interested to know how European laws and policy making interacts with our everyday life?

In this course you will develop a profound knowledge of of the EU institutions, the sources and key issues in EU law as well as a profound knowledge of the EU policies.

Target group

The intense short-term programme is designed for bachelor and master students who are at least in their second year of studies with a solid Business, Management or Engineering background.

Course aim

By the end of this course you will be able:

• To acquire the knowledge about the distribution of competences in the EU, depending on different issue areas.
• To understand how the most important EU policies developed.
• Will be able to analyse EU policies employing different criteria and to evaluate the impact of EU policy-making on business.
• Will be able to discuss and critically address EU policy-making.
