The Summer School of Advanced International Studies in Business Law and Financial Academy, offered by Niccolò Cusano University - Rome, provides an introduction to International Business Law, focusing on issues of interest to foreign lawyers, such as: International Commercial and Corporate Law, International Tax Law, Torts Law, European Union Law, ADR – Alternative Dispute Resolution, Ancient Roman Law, Bitcoin & Blockchain, Crowdfunding and Start up, Microcredit & Microfinance, Environmental Law.

Target group

Graduate students, lawyers, experts interested in International Law, Micro-credit & Micro-finance.

Course aim

Classes will be conducted by law professors and attorneys with experience in the specific field. Classes will be held in English, from Monday to Friday, 09.00 -12.00 am & 01.00-04.00 pm.

As a reflection of our heritage the Ancient Roman Law section will be held in the Roman Forum. Special arrangements have also been made for a visit to the Supreme Court of Italy, which will include attending a hearing in the Court.

The number of students admitted will be limited, in order to provide the highest quality learning opportunity and meaningful dialogue between professors and students.

Non-academic programming.

In addition to offering academic lectures, the Business Law and Financial Academy will enable visits to sites of professional and cultural interests in Naples and Florence; social and networking events; and presentations by leading practitioners, legal experts and career strategists.

Guided tour to Naples city centre and visit to Museo di Capodimonte, one of the largest museums in Italy.

Sightseeing in Florence city centre and visit to the well-known fashion factory of Salvatore Ferragamo.

Fee info

EUR 3900: The overall program fee for the Business Law and Financial Academy is € 3.900,00. This covers the costs of the academic programme and materials, programme lunches in Niccolò Cusano University.
EUR 500: The cost for the accommodation in the students residence halls is € 500,00. We would like to encourage the participants to take advantage of the accommodation offered on the Unicusano campus. Participants may, however, elect to make their own accommodation arrangement.
