About
Get an unforgettable learning experience of the Finnish hospitality environment! This summer course provides you authentic and useful insights into service encounters. Through various design concepts such as service design and service quality theories, you will approach service business in a new and efficient way. Combining fun & facts the Blue Xperience will take you around most interesting coastal sites in the Satakunta region. Learn while enjoying unique Unesco site Old Rauma, waterbus ride to a lighthouse island Kylmäpihlaja, and camping atmosphere in the destinations of Pitkäjärvi and Yyteri. You will also experience our state of the art campus in Pori!
Our main focus is on tourism and hospitality services, but the course offers useful content in a fun way for any student interested in designing, marketing and selling services. Busy week? Sure. Worth it? No doubt!

Target group
Are you planning to study in a degree programme in SAMK, Finland? Attending one of our summer schools is an excellent possibility for you to get to know SAMK, teachers, campus and the city.

Fee
1200 EUR, The course fee includes: tuition, study facilities, accommodation (exl. Mon–Tue), breakfasts, lunches and dinners, activities, and certificate. Insurance, visa, and travelling expenses to and from Finland are not included in the fee.
