About

After last year’s edition being held online due to the Paris Olympic Games, we are delighted to welcome you again in person in Paris for this 16th edition of the Summer School of Civil Law, an event that brings together students and legal professionals from all around the world.

The richness of our Summer School lies in the quality of the education provided in the prestigious Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, as well as in the diversity of the legal cultures that are represented.

We are particularly excited by the international dimension of this event, from the participants to the promotion of different legal cultures, offering many opportunities to meet and discuss with others.

There are 3 courses to choose from, among those options :
European and International Contract Law,
Settlement of International Disputes,
Digital Law (Protection of personal data & AI),
Environmental Law: Strategic Issues and Contemporary Challenges,
Constitutional Law and Fundamental Rights & Freedoms

If they are successful during the final examination, the participants will be awarded a Training Certificate in Civil Law from the Paris-Panthéon-Assas University.
The Foundation will also organize meetings with leading French legal industry members, including lawyers, notaries, bailiffs, commercial court clerks, company lawyers...

Classes will be held from Monday to Friday at the Paris-Panthéon-Assas University.

Target group

The courses are available in three languages: French, English and Spanish. A good level will be required in your chosen language.

The Summer School targets people (students, legal practitioners, etc.) who have already completed at least three years of a legal course.

Course aim

Our ambition is to provide all participants with a body of knowledge in civil law, its evolution and its influence on the legal and economic models currently under construction in the world.
