This module will provide a comprehensive introduction to Digital Research for you from a range of backgrounds.
Through a variety of interactive sessions, you will develop an understanding of the key principles of Open Science and Scholarship, the importance of reproducibility and methods for managing research projects.
This module serves as a platform for you to undertake digitally enabled research projects.

This module aims to:
- Support those new to research or transitioning to digital research methods by introducing key skills and concepts for undertaking research using digital tools and techniques.
- Incorporate recognised practices to support open science, open scholarship and reproducibility.
- Develop, over three weeks, your computational skills, apply project-management principles to a mini-project, and explore key concepts and steps to reproducible research and open scholarship.
- Equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to undertake research digitally in a responsible and reproducible way.
- Offer opportunities for students comfortable with coding to learn approaches to software design, while those new to programming can develop baseline skills.
