The course explores the transformative role of digital twin technology in the manufacturing of satellites within intelligent and automated factories. Participants will learn how digital twins, as real-time virtual representations of physical systems, enable various types of analysis, such as predictive maintenance, predictive quality, and automated anomaly detection. The use of digital twins in space manufacturing allows for continuous monitoring and optimization of production processes, ensuring higher efficiency and reliability.
By examining real-world case studies and discussing the latest trends, participants will gain insights into the growing role of digital twins in optimizing satellite production workflows and preparing for the challenges of the space industryβs future.
The course is designed to last one week and it is open to the following profiles, who are interested in the topic of digital twin for for space manufacturing and satellites:
- Master's students
- PhD students
- Researchers
- Industry professionals
