This course will encourage you to explore the societal, economic, and scientific implications of sustainability in chemistry, and to apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios. You will examine key principles such as green chemistry, atom economy, lifecycle analysis, and the use of renewable feedstocks.
The course covers the sustainability challenges and innovations across various sectors, such as pharmaceuticals, materials, energy, and industrial chemistry (e.g. large-scale ammonia production)
