About

The 5th Persian Summer School in Europe will be hosted by the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade (Serbia).

Program dates:
• 3-week program: 29 June – 17 July 2026
• 4-week program: 29 June – 24 July 2026

Instruction:
All courses are taught by native Persian-speaking university professors.

Languages of instruction: Persian and English

Certificate:
Participants will receive an official Certificate of Course Participation issued by the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade.

Levels offered:
Beginner | Intermediate | Advanced

Course load:
30 hours per week
• Total of 90 hours (3-week program)
• Total of 120 hours (4-week program)

Online support:
Post-course online academic support will be available upon completion.

Persian Calligraphy using the traditional pen

Target group

This course is designed for students, researchers, language enthusiasts, and professionals interested in learning or improving their knowledge of the Persian language and Iranian culture. It is suitable for participants at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels

Course aim

This course aims to offer participants an immersive and inspiring experience in learning Persian. Through intensive, interactive instruction, students will build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Persian, while gaining meaningful insight into Iranian culture, daily life, and traditions. The program is designed not only to improve language proficiency, but also to create a stimulating international learning environment that encourages cultural exchange, academic curiosity, and lasting engagement with the Persian-speaking world
