You will be introduced to a range of graphic skills that can be used to observe, record and analyse urban settings to substantiate proposals for improvement.
The module combines the value of traditional free-hand sketching and technical drawing techniques with digitally enhanced images, exploring diversity in the contemporary information e-rich environment.
You will work in small teams to develop your creativity and employ the practical skills taught in class to investigate an allocated urban streetscape in the surrounding area of UCL in London.
You will produce presentation panels that communicate coherent, clear and legible information on urban analysis, before proceeding to produce a poster that reasons an inclusive environment proposal.

This module aims to:
- Develop through practical application the ability to use a variety of graph techniques to communicate urban analysis.
- Use basic image enhancement and presentation skills to compose effective graphic layouts.
- Understand how analysis informs the rationale of a proposal.
- Engage with the inclusive environments agenda.
- Encourage you to work effectively both individually and as part of a small team.
