By the end of this course, students are expected to:
β’ Have an advanced understanding of the different kinds of risks that exist for organizations in the twenty first century;
β’ Be able to evaluate the strategic approaches taken by different organizations to manage and deal with modern-day risks;
β’ Understand how approaches to the management of risk have evolved in recent years;
β’ Be able to analyse and assess why organizations choose specific approaches to risk management in different contexts;
β’ Have the knowledge to identify factors that can hinder the ability of an organization to successfully manage risk
