Todayβs emerging leaders face complex challenges such as navigating rapidly changing external conditions, addressing ethical dilemmas, making sound decisions, and communicating vision amid global uncertainty. They must also learn how to align diverse international teams toward exceptional performance and act as global change agents who create new value for their organizations. This course aims to develop studentsβ understanding of leadership in an international and intercultural context. It explores how global leaders inspire, influence, and manage diverse teams across cultural, institutional, and geographic boundaries.
Participants will critically analyse global leadership theories, develop intercultural competence, and apply leadership frameworks to real-world cases and simulations. Moreover, this course offers participants a comprehensive understanding of contemporary leadership theories and models while fostering self-awareness and reflection on their own leadership potential. It supports their progression from followers to leaders by exploring the mindsets, competencies, and behaviours essential for effective leadership in a global context.
