About

The School is designed to deepen your knowledge of social network analysis by covering core descriptive techniques alongside advanced methods, including Relational Event Models and Discourse Network Analysis.

Learning outcomes:
- Get an overview of key theories and data in political science network research
- Understand the fundamentals of SNA, with RI, R II and R III
- Learn core network analysis techniques
- Gain practical experience in tools including R, DNA, Visone, and NetLogo
- Become familiar with advanced tools such as Discourse Network Analysis (DNA), Exponential Random Graph Models (ERGM), Relational Event Models, and Agent-based Modelling (ABM).

Target group

Graduate students (Master’s and doctoral levels) and researchers with an interest in the empirical study of social and political networks.
