The course "Global Power and Technology" offers a deep dive into how some most innovative technologies influence the world around us and how they, in turn, are influenced by global power dynamics.
During the intensive 5-days programme, you will:
- Explore how the EU is shaping the digital transition in cutting-edge fields such as AI and Quantum technologies
- Examine the dynamic nexus between innovation, regulation, and competition
- Understand how geopolitical dynamics among major powers, including the EU, the US, and China, shape global and regional regulatory frameworks
- Gain insights into the legal, economic, and policy dimensions of technology standardization
- Engage with renowned experts and industry professionals through lectures and interactive simulations
- Develop strong presentation, research, and negotiation skills through hands-on, practice-oriented assignments
