Introduction to Logic Programming with Prolog
Logic programming is a paradigm of declarative programming which is based on Horn logic. Logic programming languages are widely used in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, information extraction, networking, program analysis, software engineering, security, cloud computing, etc.
This course will introduce students logic programming language. In particular, we discuss the foundations of logic programming, programming techniques, and applications in several areas. During the class students will master to implement problems in logic programming style. They also will learn how to write efficient programs. Logic programming will be illustrated using the programming language Prolog.
