Design for Health Care - Youth Care Innovation
Youth care innovation platform Garage 2020 has conducted research on the state of foster care family recruitment in The Netherlands. Based on their data analysis a customer journey was developed, which showed a need to improve the process of a placement. Main issue; how to keep already interested potential foster parents engaged throughout this process, in oder to enforce successful placements? There is a need to develop new ideas for guiding and supporting potential foster parents. Giving the current availability of foster parents, there is a big need for successful placements.
During this course, we will work as a design studio, working on this specific project. You will design with and for foster parents and the foster care system. We will teach you co-design methods to do this properly. Two weeks of intense and applied design training which will expand your design skills.
You will be working in small teams and guided by various coaches and an involved client. We want to create a creative, fun and productive project where you will learn!
