International Summer School of Archaeological Science
The call for the 2018 International Summer School of Archaeological Science offered by Petnica Science Center (Valjevo, Serbia) is now open. Our interactive program is focused on a personalized training analysis of materials and accompanying documentation which will provide our participants with international knowledge required by the modern standards in archaeological research. Petnica 2018 ISSAS participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate issued by the organizers, with a detailed curriculum of the Summer School.

Target group
Students of Archaeology, Science and related fields are invited to apply for a ten-day experience. A maximum audience of 10 participants is required for this year and the call is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Course aim
The main goal of this summer school is to show how archaeology can be multidisciplinary and must cooperate with other disciplines (both humanities and sciences) in order to get valid and relevant results.
Credits info
Petnica 2018 ISSAS participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate issued by the organizers, with a detailed curriculum of the Summer School.
Fee info
EUR 500: The participation cost for the accepted participants is 500 EURO. This fee includes accommodation, three daily meals, full academic expenses, tuition, a field trip, expenses for laboratory materials, and the final certificate. The accepted participants will be requested to pay the participation fee after being accepted and before coming to Petnica 2018 ISSAS
