The topic of the 2019 Kraków Intellectual Property Law Summer School is Intellectual Property Overlaps. Interfaces between different types of IRPs, as well as practical consequences of overlaps will be discussed during lectures of the keynote speakers and guest lecturers, as well as workshops, case studies and group discussions.

Target group

The Summer School is open to law students (undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students) and young professionals (attorneys, counsellors-at-law, patent attorneys, legal trainees etc.). At lleast basic knowledge of IP Law is required.

Course aim

The program is designed for candidates who wish to obtain deeper knowledge of IP law, in particular on the topic of IPR Overlaps.

Credits info

2 EC
2 ECTS credits will be awarded for attending at least 80% of the Summer School activities. If a participant wishes to obtain additional 2 ECTS credits and a grade (total 4 ECTS for participation), he/she should submit 8-10-page essay within 2 weeks after the end of the Summer School. The topic of the essay shall be determined in consultation with the Organizing Committee.
It is recommended to consult with your home university before attending the programme to ensure that your participation will be recognized.

Fee info

EUR 190: This is an early bird fee for students, for applications made on or before April 30, 2019.
For applications made on or before July 31, 2019, the fee is 240 EUR.
The fee shall be paid in Polish Zlotys.
EUR 240: This is an early bird fee for young professionals, for applications made on or before April 30, 2019.
For applications made on or before July 31, 2019, the fee is 280 EUR.
The fee shall be paid in Polish Zlotys.
