The summerschool program consists of different modules, providing an overview of important approaches, problems and future research directions in the field and summarizing relevant knowledge as well as current trends and major issues of
relevant neurophysiological methods. Corresponding workshops and sessions offer a problem-solving insight, leading
to transfer of knowledge and include discussions and expert supervision. At the end of the week you get the opportunity

Target group

Participants are expected to be undergraduate students in their second or third year in the field of sport sciences, physiotherapy, neurosciences & sports or health & sports. There will be 12 students accepted to participate from various countries and cultures.

Course aim

The summerschool aims to approach neuroscientific aspects of sports and exercise. Contents include “therapy of neurological and neurodegenerative diseases or injuries” as well as “training and performance development”. All contents are conveyed and discussed with strong emphasis to application and practical relevance. Furthermore you obtain a good insight into our international Master’s degree Program „Applied Neurosciences in Sports & Exercise“ (ANSE). In different workshops participants have the opportunity to work with neurophysiologic methods in sports settings (EEG, ANS diagnostics, visual and vestibular tests).

Credits info

A certificate of attendance will be delivered to each participant.

Fee info

EUR 150: The course fee covers participation in the course including lunch, coffee breaks and social program. Travel and accommodation have to be paid separately by the participants.
After approval of the application your registration will be finalized by the transfer of the course fee (150 €).
After the full course fee has been transferred your registration is complete, and the registration fee cannot be refunded. Please send us the receipt of payment of the transfer via E-Mail (reinecke@sportmed.upb.de).
