Bone, Joint & Tendon Care
The Groningen Summer School of Bone, Joint & Tendon Care is hosted by the University Medical Center and University of Groningen, the Netherlands. The course revolves around healthy ageing and movement (disorders). You will learn about ageing, joint wear, fractures. Also work on your surgical and anatomical skills by participating in premium workshops held by major orthopaedic companies. Furthermore, you'll be able to participate in a very exciting social program, in cooperation with the other medical summerschool in Groningen!

bachelor-/master-/postgraduates from the fields of medicine, biomedical sciences, biomedical technology, movement sciences, physical therapy or any related study field
The goal of the BJTC summerschool is to teach a multidisciplinary approach to the subject of healthy ageing and movement(disorders).
Course teaching goals:
- To show the importance of ageing on movement (disorders)
- To introduce movement related research & development
- To become familiar with preparing a research proposal
- To encourage multidisciplinary collaboration, and communication with peers from all around the world
EUR 600: Included
-Accomodation from July 3rd to July 12th, location TBA.
-Food & beverages (breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinners) on course days
-Travel to and from the Netherlands (e.g. destination Amsterdam Schiphol airport or Groningen Airport)
-Travel to Groningen (e.g. by car, train). The summerschool committee will advise you on your best option if necessary
-Costs for immunization and MRSA sampling
