Leadership in Nursing Excellence
Nursing and health care are highly challenged to provide excellent patient care through continuous improvements of process and outcomes. Therefore, to achieve a resilient and adaptive organization that attracts and retains highly professional and skilled nurses and midwifes becomes essential. This summer school treats concepts and evidence on organizational context of nursing practice and illustrates how ANCC Magnet® and Pathway to Excellence principles were implemented in European health care systems.
Graduates, postgraduates, and professionals highly involved and interested in quality improvements and professional and institutional development active in all domains of nursing and health care: acute and chronic care, mental health care, mother and childcare, residential aged care and home care. We provide the opportunity for institutions to send a delegation of two or three motivated representatives.
Successful completion of the summer school can be awarded with 3 credits according the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Credits will be awarded on the base of completing a brief assignment before the start of the programme and submitting a paper focusing on one of the summer school topics after the programme. Participants completing this assignment will receive a certificate of completion. All certificates of completion are issued as a micro-credential.
To include the credits in the curriculum at the home institution, participants need an agreement with the responsible person at the home institution.
