Chinese-Austrian-EU Summer School

Lectures are held at the University of Salzburg, the University of Vienna, Paris Descartes Universite and the University of Heidelberg. The students have also the opportunity to visit the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.

Professors from the University of Salzburg are giving lectures on political science, western philosophy, history and German literature. A lecture about the tradition of Austrian Music is be held by a professor from the University Mozarteum Salzburg. The University of Vienna offers the students lectures about Intercultural Management.

While the students' stay in Europe they also get the chance to visit the UNO-City, the Music Society Vienna, the Castle Schönbrunn, the Trick Fountains in Salzburg, Lake Wolfgang and many more beautiful European sights and cities.

Target group

The Chinese-Austrian-EU Summer School is directed towards students who want to deepen their knowledge about Europe in general and Austria in particular.

Course aim

The Chinese-Austrian-EU Summer School opens up the possibility for students from China to visit Europe for four weeks in order to gain an intensive insight into our political, economic and legal system as well as to distinguish the cultural differences.

Fee info

EUR 3200: The costs for the summer school amount to approx. 3.200,- EUR (without flight costs and bank fees).
This includes accommodation (double rooms/including breakfast), lecture fees, insurance, transportation as well as the
costs for the sightseeing trips.

Single rooms: Accompanying teachers or students, who wish to stay in a single room, may do so under an extra charge. We will inform you about payment procedures after we receive your nomination.
