ACT International Course in Geopolitics

A comprehensive experience of lectures about geopolitics, and in particular about the increasing role of borders and identity in shaping international relations today. The ACT is honoured to host a special program about Geopolitics for students that provides lectures about geopolitics, and in particular about the increasing role of borders and identity in shaping international relations today.
After seven years of summer schools with students from all over the world, we know very well the importance of the environment for focusing on study. The ACT International Course in Geopolitics provides the perfect place where to focus and apply to study, a typical Tuscan farmhouse completely renovated, but also gives the students an environment rich in awesome landscapes, nature, history, and culture to refresh their minds after the hard learning work.
We provide the exciting opportunity to learn from internationally renowned teachers, during a full immersion week, alternating teaching activities and the discovery of the fascinating Tuscan territory.
In addition to the learning experience, participants will be able to enjoy a wide range of cultural sites, historic monuments, and natural sites of Tuscany, disclosed by expert archaeologists and local guides.

Dr. Manlio Graziano, professor of Geopolitics and Geopolitics of Religions at Sorbonne University (Paris), American Graduate School in Paris, Geneva Institute of Geopolitics. Author of several books.

Course aim

The first aim of this course is to introduce geopolitics in the perspective of the increasing role of borders, and cultural, religious and national identity in shaping international relations today. Lectures will be held by leading international experts.

Credits info

In order to enable students to gain credits from their University, a signed certificate will be issued, testifying all the activities of the Course in details.

Fee info

EUR 1500: Fees will cover local transports, housing, meals, and staff costs;anything not specified is not included.There are no application fees;however, students are required to pay half support fees within 1 week after admission.
EUR 1000: We do encourage the participation of small groups of friends or class mates. If a participant brings two or more friends he/she will get a 33% reduction: € 1000 instead of € 1500
