Target group

The School is addressed at PhD students, early-career scientists and is open also to Master and undergraduate students.

Course aim

This International School is aimed to give a general overview of the basic concepts which are involved in this entire process from the physical sensing to the processing of complex and big data. In addition many lectures will be dedicated to advanced examples in different fields, e.g. photodetectors, magnetic sensors, environmental and biomedical applications, quantum information.

Fee info

EUR 230: Regular fee . The fee includes attendance to the lectures, coffee breaks, lunch, a welcome aperitive and a touristic guided trip in the Bologna Towncenter.
EUR 150: Reduced fee. Several reduced fees will be granted to Master and undergraduate students. The fee includes attendance to the lectures, coffee breaks, lunch, a welcome aperitive and a touristic guided trip in the Bologna Towncenter.
