Doing Business in Europe - Sustainable Marketing
Are you curious about how doing business works in the European Union (EU)? And in particular how marketing works in culturally diverse Europe? Then our Doing Business in Europe – Sustainable Marketing course is the right fit for you. Welcome to the exciting world of European business!
Various Hanze UAS schools with a focus on business have joined forces to develop the programme Doing Business in Europe. This first-class Summer School takes you on a journey through the European world of business. In order to provide the broadest of information, the programme covers general and specialized subjects, covering the full range of international business topics. The classes are combined with extensive social activities and business trips to multinationals.
The course focuses on topics related to international business and marketing and on how to apply this to specific EU countries. The course is perfect for internationally oriented students who'd like to find out more about the functioning of the EU and how this affects the way business is done in its member states.
We believe no Summer School experience is complete without experiencing the country you are visiting. We have listed a number of options for social activities below. The social activities are part of the programme, after all: 'something happens every day'!
The course fee includes a welcome dinner, a European cooking class, company visits and an excursion to the island of Schiermonnikoog.
From previous years we have learned that students have different preferences. Hence we want to offer students more flexibility in their participation in activities offered beyond the academic programme. Perhaps you'd like to use your free time for travelling or relaxation as opposed to joining in on all the social activities. The total cost of the summer school depends on the add-ons chosen.
You will experience that attending a course at Hanze Summer School there is much more than studying and socializing. You will also be given the opportunity to visit large multinationals that play an important role in the contribution to the European economy. Every year, we visit several companies.
