Madrid Fine Arts Journeys offers High School Students the opportunity to internationalize and enrich their artistic education in a unique course structured around some of the finest art collections in the world at the Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen Museums.

The course's objectives focus on enhancing student’s creativity and critical thinking, while improving their drawing abilities, visual literacy skills and Artistic Education.

Target group

This course, led by practicing artists and accredited Art Historians is a rigorous and enriching pre-college Art Experience for motivated art-minded High School students in their 10th, 11th or 12th Grades.

Course aim

 Get an introduction to Spanish and European History through Spain´s Cultural and Artistic Heritage.
 Improve their drawing and photographic skills.
 Develop strong visual literacy skills.
 Get a sense of what it´s like to pursue an arts-based career.
 Get immersed in Spanish lifestyle!

Credits info

Students prepare their college-portfolio at the Prado Museum.

EUR 3150: Program fees include:
 Full Room & Board accommodation:
(All meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, included.)
