The Sounding City Summer School is offered in partnership with Struer Sound Art Lab, Struer Tracks 2023 (Sound Art Biannual) and Struer City of Sounds.

All partner-organisations are part of the Struer municipal strategies for enhancing sound environments and sound art as part of urban planning and development, strategies that are equally supported by cultural institutions in Struer (including Struer Museum and the local art council, specialized in sound art) as well as by Sound Hub DK (incubator/accelerator) and Bang & Olufsen.

The summer school covers aspects of sound studies and urban studies and how these fields connect and engage citizens. The summer school will additionally introduce to participatory audience engagement and how public space can be a space for democratizing processes.
