Cross-cultural Negotiation
In a world that is increasingly affected by conflict, good negotiation skills are becoming more and more important. A good negotiator will have an easier life because they have the tools to handle conflict in a constructive way. Conflicts of the cross-border variety also require an insight into the possible influence of cultural differences, and with an increase in international trade, more and more negotiations take place around the world.
This course will introduce you to negotiation technique in general and help you understand your own style as a negotiator. It will also highlight some of the possible influences of cultural differences and focus on negotiation strategy and tactics, communication in negotiations and team roles in negotiations. It is highly interactive with numerous exercises and games.
