Sustainable, Healthy Cities, (Re)building for the Future
Fantastic opportunity to study In Venice in June 2023 at the European Cultural Academy. A 12-day program, with lectures and visits to Biennale of Art, museums, and architectural in collaboration with the University of Oxford. Students will explore the potential to learn from the past, together with present technologies and practice, in order to design healthier cities for the future; and to retro-fit today's urban spaces to cater for new sudden challenges and emerging stresses across the range of environmental, social and economic contexts. A key emphasis will be a focus on Venice, exploring how artists, architects, urban developers and denizens have responded to regenerate the built environment, and everyday urban living.
