The course has focus on methodological array on making research in digital environments with a practical, case-based pedagogical approach as methodological workshop.

First, concept of sustainability in digital environments is introduced from the methodological perspective. This underlines the philosophy of science as well as theoretical premises of methodological choice.

Second, the focus is on the introduction of different research possibilities in digital environments utilizing qualitative, especially visual and oral methodologies with field work as ethnographic, participatory and design research.

Third, methods are critically discussed in implementation and execution from planning and sampling to organizing and analyzing, assessment and ethics.

University students and graduates from around the world.

Student shows out critical thinking towards research and, she/he enables research forward focusing to sustainability in digital life from qualitative perspectives.
