Health and the Environment
The course combines theoretical knowledge of the effects of nature and the environment and human health with bodily and experiential learning in the surroundings of Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
Due to Covid-19 precautions, this course may be arranged ONLINE instead of physical for the summer 2021. This will be confirmed by the end of April depending on the situation of COVID-19 around the world.
Target group
University students and graduates from around the world.
Course aim
The student knows how nature and the environment affect physical and mental health.
The student is able to use built and natural environments to promote health.
The student values sustainable development and responsible choices.
The student is open to bodily experiences of nature.
Fee info
EUR 420: Course fee for students external to Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
EUR 0: Courses are free of charge to degree students and exchange students (academic year 2021-2022) of Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
