Cad Intensive courseblended course
The Rhinoceros principles:
3D creation of curves, circles, ellipses, polygons, surfaces, and solids
Editing of objects: Move, Rotate, Fillet, Array, Split commands…on curves and surfaces
Sweep 1 track, sweep 2 tracks, loft.
Ring constructions with simple shapes
3D Design of ring, pendant and earring models, perforations, pocketing
Setting the measuring unit and heights
Blending and smoothing techniques
Modelling with solids
Creating a 2D drawing from a 3D drawing
Importing and exporting models
Brief outline of rendering: Flamingo NXT
The intensive course is recommended both forbeginners and advanced students in jewellery making and design, and it is also suited for professional goldsmiths who want to improve their competences
The courses taught by Jasmina Carbone, a McNeel authorised teacher. CAD (Computer Aided Design) offers possibilities that until very recently were unthinkable for jewellery design, and is extremely useful not only for designers but also for jewellers and model-makers.
