Smart Energy and Mobility Transition Modelling Future Solutions for Europe and the MENA-Region

online course
when 30 August 2021 - 3 September 2021
language English
duration 1 week

What will Energy and Mobility look like at the end of the 21st century? Europe and the MENA-Region are major playing fields for the development of the Smart Energy and Mobility Transition. At our Summer School, you will receive an overview of both topics and regions, as well as methodological knowledge, which will show you how to model solutions and sharpen your research profile in these areas. We will have (optional) networking events before and after the Summer School which will allow you to network with other participants. In these networking events, we will further include external stakeholders/partners in the fields of the Smart Energy and Mobility Transition from Germany/Europe as well as Egypt/the MENA-Region. If you’re interested in the Summer School, you should also take a look at the call to participate in the Power TAC tournament (powertac.org/), a retail electricity trading competition based on a simulation of the smart energy landscape. Power TAC brings smart energy, AI and machine learning, and the retail trading environment together to promote research in emerging smart energy fields and to foster stronger international and cross-discipline ties in the scientific community.
