Design thinking is a creative approach to problem solving. This is an intensive, hands-on course that will challenge you to get out of the building into the real world to talk to people and test your ideas.

Students and PhD candidates who are interested in broadening their knowledge and skills in innovation, new product/service design as well as creative approaches to real world problem solving.

Course aim

After this course you will:

- Have mastered the concept of human-centred design to create innovative solutions for businesses and real-world problems.
- Be able to practice for synthesizing user research and identifying opportunities for design.
- Be able to practice the design process and its activities, methods and techniques.
- Have learned to effectively build and test rapid prototypes and make ideas come to life.

EUR 600: The fee includes the registration fees, course materials, access to library and IT facilities, coffee/tea, lunch, and a number of social activities.
